This only cost less than $50 which is a great bargain in my opinion.

It is a corded vacuum so you'll have to find an outlet to plug this in but the benefits outweigh the cons.

What to expect from the Eureka EasyClean 71B?

One of the strongest attributes of the EasyClean is suction. Testers in Vacuum Wizard say that it measured 70 on a water lift gauge which is pretty high.

What makes this great for stairs and upholstery is the Riser Visor feature that makes this equally great to clean these areas vertically and horizontally.

Bare Floor Performance

The strong suction plus the motorize brush make this effective on bare floor surfaces. Like I told you earlier this measured 70 on a water lift gauge that measures suction power and that's above average.

This excels in cleaning fine to medium sized debris and may struggle with larger pieces of dirt not because of a lack of suction.

It will struggle because it may not fit in between the bristles of the brush roll. A work around for this would be using the hose and crevice tool.

While you can clean floors with this, I would not suggest you using this as a floor cleaner because it is a handheld and you'll need to bend down to reach the floors.

This will be best utilized as a spot cleaner.

Carpet Performance

This will also excel in cleaning carpeted stairs, an area that a lot of upright and even canister vacuums struggle at.

The Riser Visor feature allows this to clean not only horizontal areas but vertical as well.

It is called a Riser Visor because you can flip the visor both ways allowing to you clean the stairs and the risers as well – the stair risers are toughest to clean.

Now even with the 6 inch cleaning path, I'm not sure you'd want to use this exclusively on floors as you'll either need to bend down or get down on all fours to do so. This again will work great as a spot cleaner on low to medium pile carpet.

Pet Hair Removal

This vacuum literally inhales pet hair. Among the thousands of users that left a review in Amazon, a lot of them were pet owners of dogs and cats that shed a lot of pet hair that is hard to keep up with.

Now if you own a heavy shedding dog like an Akita or a Boston terrier.

This only comes with a crevice tool attachment, combine this with the 3 foot flexible hose, you can use this to clean edges as well as nooks and crannies.

Cord Length

This comes with a 20 foot cord and a cord wrap to store it neatly. It does not have any rewinding feature so you'll have to manually coil and uncoil this.

Filter Clean up

The filter in the 71B is washable and to remove it just push on the release lever that's located here…

Lift up the dust cup and remove the filter and clean it under running water.

Now emptying the dust cup can be a little bit messy particularly with pet hair because pet hair tends to stick on the cloth filter so you'll need to use your fingers to take this debris off.

Pet owners will also benefit from this vacuum because not only does it have strong suction, the motorized brush is powered by a separate motor which simply means that it is strong in picking up pet hair, particularly on carpet and upholstery.

Despite being advertised to be great on car interiors, this will not do well on contoured flooring inside cars because of the design of the vacuum inlet that will not be effective on contoured surfaces plus it is too big to fit in nooks and crannies.

While it has a flexible hose that may help it is too short in my opinion to reach in the tightest of spaces inside a vehicle.
